The Akkordeon- und Harmonika- Club Neustadt im Schwarzwald e.V. was founded on 12 March 1931. This makes the AHC one of the oldest clubs in the German Harmonica Association.
Club life had to be interrupted due to the war years. Rehearsals were resumed in 1946. In 1950, the then conductor Fritz Heilbock switched to a polyphonic orchestra. There was also a decline in the number of diatonic instruments. The number of accordions known today grew.
As early as 1949, the association began working with young people to recruit new members and secure the future of the association.
In the following years, as today, the AHC helped to shape the cultural life of Titisee-Neustadt. The AHC performs at numerous events, former home evenings and spa concerts. The AHC is also musically active in hospitals and old people's homes, as well as at trade conferences and church services. The annual spring concert is a firm musical fixture.
