The Menzenschwand Mountain Rescue Service provides rescue services in alpine areas and on rough terrain. In special cases
special cases, it also supplements the other rescue service units outside their areas of operation. It is mainly responsible for the large service area of Sankt Blasien, Menzenschwand and Albtal as well as the operational control area of the cross-country ski runs and hiking trails up to the Feldberg. We also support other local mountain rescue groups during complicated rescue operations. We are also regularly out in the field with the police and fire brigade in searches for missing persons.
