Climbing area in the Todtnau Mountain World
The climbing area in Todtnau with its unique via ferrata is one of the most beautiful climbing areas in the Black Forest. The area consists of three separate sections with several fixed climbing routes.
The rock is between 15 and max. 35 m high. A fixed via ferrata with 300 m of steel rope, which has a tensile strength of 6,500 kN, ensures optimum safety. All rocks face south and are exposed to the sun, providing good climbing conditions. Climbing enthusiasts from Todtnau have cleared the rock area, making it easier to access.
