The association has set itself the following tasks:

• Local history and preservation: to revive part of the Way of St James as cultural history.

• Procure and install signposting along the Himmelreich-Jakobusweg from Hüfingen to Weil am Rhein
• procure and install signposts.
• Organisation of infrastructure along the route.
• Creation of a pilgrimage brochure.
• General promotion of the idea of the St James pilgrimage.
