Geißentäler Narrenzunft Menzenschwand e.V.

On the initiative of the current honorary guild master Adolf Schlageter, today's "Geißentäler Narrenzunft" was founded on 3 March 1963. The name "Geißentäler" was chosen because of the nickname given to the Menzenschwanders in the St. Blasien region. The poor man's cow, the goat, used to be found in every barn in Menzenschwand.
