Walkers, hikers and those interested in geological history are informed in detail about the rock deposits around the Haslach community and in the area of the Upper Black Forest. Numerous large boulders placed along the hiking trail and around the lookout point tell much of the geological history of the Upper Black Forest region.
Small sponsored metal signs were screwed onto the stones. On these you can now read whether it is Haslach granite, graywacke, red sandstone or porphyry. For those who are not so well versed in rock science or who want to know more, a large information board provides the relevant information.
A reading bench invites visitors to linger.
