Geschichtstruhe, Bärenplatz 13, 78112St. Georgen im Schwarzwald
Venue of the Verein für Heimatkunde e.V. St. Georgen. Media on the subject of local history can be purchased and borrowed during business hours.
The "History Chest" is where the majority of our events take place, e.g. regular lectures. We also offer a wide range of books, publications, illustrated books, annual magazines (e.g. "Heimatbote") and digital media. These can be purchased or viewed during opening hours. The contents deal with many historical topics from St. Georgen and the region and are therefore also a comprehensive documentation.
