Im Jahr 2014 hat das Ministerium der Justiz und für Europa BW gemeinsam mit TourCert innerhalb eines Pilotsprojekts die Zertifizierung für Destinationen entwickelt. Entstanden ist die Auszeichnung "Nachhaltiges Reiseziel", welche Destinationen und die touristischen Anbieter im deutschsprachigen Raum als Ganzes betrachtet. Das Label mit "dem grünen N" gilt für "Nachhaltige Reiseziele" in Deutschland. Dabei spielen vor allem Parameter wie die Qualität der Produkte und Dienstleitungen oder der schonende Umgang mit Ressourcen eine sehr goße Rolle.

Das Konzept "Die nette Toilette" bietet eine einzigartige Lösung, von der alle Beteiligten profitieren. Teilnehmende Gastronomen stellen ihre Toiletten kostenfrei für Gäste zur Verfügung, unabhängig davon, ob diese bei ihnen etwas verzehren oder nicht. Die Bürger erhalten ein flächendeckendes Netz an frei zugänglichen Toiletten. Die App zeigt die Ausstattung der Toilette an und bietet eine Navigation vom jeweiligen Standort zur ausgewählten Toilette.

Green Globe is an international certification with a seal of quality for the travel and tourism industry with three award levels
depending on criteria fulfilment and years of membership: Certified Member, Gold Member, Platinum Member. To be
certified as a ‘Certified Member’, a company must fulfil each criterion and achieve at least 51% together with the respective
assigned indicators. In order to maintain certification, an annual improvement in the performance of the criteria achieved

Die „Qualitätsoffensive Naturparke“ vom Verband Deutscher Naturparke (VDN) gibt den Naturparken ein Instrument zur Selbsteinschätzung und kontinuierlichen Verbesserung der Qualität ihrer Arbeit und ihrer Angebote an die Hand. Ein Qualitäts-Naturpark wird vom VDN durch ein umfängliches Verfahren evaluiert und für seine vorbildliche Arbeit in den Bereichen Naturschutz und Landschaftspflege, Erholung und nachhaltiger Tourismus, Bildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung und Umweltbildung sowie nachhaltige Regionalentwicklung ausgezeichnet.

Im Schwarzwald werden rund 100 herausragende Bauwerke in Architekturrouten dargestellt. Die von einer Jury ausgezeichneten Objekte stehen repräsentativ für gutes, regionales Bauen im Schwarzwald. Die Auszeichnungen werden vom Verein Bauwerk Schwarzwald e.V. vergeben. Die Kriterien sind anspruchsvoll und decken verschiedene thematische Bereiche wie zeitgemäße Architektur, Konstruktions- und Ausführungsqualität sowie energetische Effizienz ab. Auch der positive Einfluss auf das soziale Umfeld und bürgerschaftliches Engagement wurden bei der Auszeichnung berücksichtigt.

Das Partnernetzwerk Nationalpark Schwarzwald regelt die Kooperation zwischen regionalen Betrieben und Großschutzgebieten vertraglich. Eine Partnerschaft ist zudem eine besondere Form der Verbundenheit mit dem Nationalpark. Partner haben Teil an der Nationalpark-Idee. Das heißt, sie unterstützen die Ziele des Nationalparks.
