SKIING AREA
Thanks to modern snow-making facilities, the Haldenköpfle ski area is a snow-sure family ski area on Freiburg's local mountain, Schauinsland, with easy to moderately difficult runs, which is also popular with snowboarders.
Guests can choose from two modern T-bar lifts (Haldenköpfle 1 with runs of up to 1.2 km in length & Haldenköpfle 2 with runs of up to 0.5 km in length) and a *training lift* (with a length of 70 m). Our piste map provides a good overview.
For breaks, the mountain hut with sun terrace invites you to linger.
The floodlight offer, in combination with the NightSki&Bus shuttle service, is very popular.
NOTE: The NightSki&Bus only runs from January to March!
Floodlit (Tue - Sat from 19:00 - 21:50)
The connecting trail to the Notschrei trail and the 100 km Schonach/Belchen trail starts directly at the ski lift car park. There are interesting winter hiking trails in the immediate vicinity.
