On 1 January 2015, the church structures in the area were fundamentally changed. The three previous pastoral care units
- St. Blasien pastoral care unit with the parishes of
St. Blasien,
Herz-Jesu Albtal and
St Martin Menzensschwand
- Häusern-Höchenschwand pastoral care unit with the parishes of
St Fridolin Häusern and
St Michael Höchenschwand
- Pastoral care unit Dachsberg-Ibach with the parishes
Se. Bernhard Hierbach,
St. Peter & Paul Urberg and
St. Georg & Cyrill Wittenschwand-Ibach
have been merged to form a new pastoral care unit.
