The QuellOmat in the Kolmen kiosk is located at an altitude of 1,100 metres, where the source of the Danube rises and in the heart of the Black Forest.
It belongs to the Dold family from the Höhengasthaus Kolmenhof at the source of the Danube and is located on the path to the source of the Danube, not far from the Höhengasthaus, which is located at Neuweg 11, 78120 Furtwangen.
The third-generation family business has made it its mission to provide hikers around the popular hiking area with everything they need with its QuellOmat. Of course, this includes everything you need for a hearty snack. From various tinned sausage products or savoury ham, to cheese, various spreads and, of course, the right bread. If you've forgotten your snack board, knife or mug, no problem. Everything is available at QuellOmat. Of course, there are also plenty of refreshments for young and old, spritzers, lemonades, beer, wine and even schnapps if it was really hard. The little ones have also been catered for: sweets and games make children's hearts beat faster. Of course, the regional products can also be given away as souvenirs to those at home. The QuellOmat is currently the only opportunity for the family to show their hospitality, as the inn must remain closed due to the coronavirus pandemic. So stop by, support the family and combine it with a wonderful hike through the beautiful nature of the Black Forest.
