Natural History Museum Prof. Dr Kalchreuter - Glashütte
A special excursion destination awaits you in the Glashütte district of Bonndorf: the Kalchreuther Natural History Museum. It is located directly below the famous Höhengasthof Glashütte and invites visitors on an exciting journey through the animal kingdom.
The museum displays the fascinating legacy of Dr Kalchreuther, an internationally renowned wildlife biologist, committed conservationist and passionate hunter. He often lived and hunted on his research trips and brought home numerous findings and unique specimens.
Today, you can marvel at over 600 lifelike taxidermied animals from all over the world in the museum - expertly prepared and presented in a lifelike manner.
