Neustädter Gägs der Narrenzunft Neustadt 1874 e.V.

The first documentary evidence of carnival activities in the forest town dates back to 1607. The fools' guild, which was called "Gesellschaft Frohsinn" by its founding fathers, was founded on 7 February 1874 and since then has experienced numerous highs and lows in its history, and is not only active during the 5th Johreszit. Throughout the year, the Narrenzunft and its departments are active at numerous festivals in and around the forest town.
