Outdoor Swimming Pool in Lenzkirch-Kappel

Freibad Kappel, Erlenbachweg 50, 79853 Lenzkirch

The outdoor swimming pool in Kappel dates back to the 1930s. The historical atmosphere is captured by the old changing rooms which are under monumental protection as well as the charming kiosk.

The large 50-metre-long pool is filled with clear, refreshing spring water (not heated). There is a separate children’s pool for the little ones as well as a play area. The terraced sunbathing lawn with its old shady trees offers a wonderful panoramic view. Additional features include: beach volleyball court, diving board, playground, football, ping pong, and rental of sports equipment such as boules balls, other balls, racquets, etc.
