In 1981, riders and drivers from St.Märgen came together and founded a riding and driving club.
As St.Märgen is the place of origin of the Black Forest Fox breed, most of the club members own this St.Märgen cold-blooded breed, which is also regularly ridden and driven at events.
However, the club also owns other breeds such as Haflinger, Warmblood, Arabian, Lippizzaner, Friesian, Bardigiani, Freiberger, Noriker, riding ponies, Welsh ponies and others.
