This is where everyone comes together. The young people are actively involved in city life and have a room on the ground floor. The young people were involved in the selection of the furniture. The meeting centre is located directly next to the youth room: This is intended to be a low-threshold centre. A simple coffee for a chat and a small lunch at an affordable price.
On the first floor there are various counselling and support services: The district administration office and also municipal organisations, such as the WIRkstatt, will offer comprehensive advice here in future.
Last but not least is our personal highlight: the upper floor.
In the Bürgersaal, the history of the lion can be felt again: the original beams have been blasted with ice and can be viewed in their full splendour almost nine metres up to the top of the roof. The high-quality red carpeting harmonises perfectly with the blasted wooden beams and the wooden wall. Information evenings, cinema afternoons or a relaxed get-together can be held here in full Black Forest flair.
