Laubwaldkapelle Schonach, 78136Schonach im Schwarzwald
The Laubwald Chapel (1742) is a document of the deeply rooted religiosity of the rural population and evidence of a pilgrimage that goes back a long way.
With its remarkable furnishings, especially the altar, the tower clock and the clock case (which contains the movement for the Schneider und Söhne/Schonach tower clock), the chapel is of artistic and technical-historical value. Legend tells of a castle in the area of today's Laubwald Chapel.
