Neukirch is a district of Furtwangen and lies between 650 m and 1148 metres above sea level.
The local association was founded in 1956 and has set itself the task of maintaining the hiking trails around Neukirch (57 km). We now also maintain 29 km in Linach. Since 2022, we have also been maintaining 38 km in the Furtwangen area.
We also maintain around 101 km of supra-regional and long-distance hiking trails in collaboration with the district trail warden.
Nature conservation is also a major issue.
We are committed to the maintenance of small monuments in Neukirch and built the Behahof barbecue area.
Other important points are the annual "Aktion saubere Landschaft" (Clean Landscape Campaign) and the Dorfhock in co-operation with the other Neukirch associations.
One of the main activities are the hikes and excursions.
