Stiegeler wood sculpture/black forest wood art
In the workshop in Grafenhausen, modern and traditional wooden sculptures are handcrafted into unique pieces. Traditional Black Forest woodwork is reinterpreted here through a love of the material and creativity.
In the exhibition rooms, mainly specially designed garden
garden figures, sculptures, angelic "winged creatures" and wooden murals.
Numerous wooden masks can be discovered in the workshop area. Incidentally, the artist couple are now known worldwide for their work. The world exhibition Expo Shanghai 2010, international cinema productions or, for example, "the masked singer", Germany are among the references.
In 2012, the artist couple was honoured with the Innovation Award for Tourism for their original offerings.
In addition, the Stiegeler woodcarving workshop sells great gifts and decorative items from the region, modern Black Forest clocks and high-quality souvenirs.
Stiegeler's premises are also home to its own cult Black Forest label [:blackest-forest:]. This is where cheeky Black Forest motifs between Bollenhut and skull and crossbones meet fashionable textiles.
