In 2019, the idea for a new dog park in the Black Forest began with a very pragmatic approach. All dog owners from Schönwald and the surrounding area have always had long journeys to the clubs. So why not have their own place? No sooner said than done... An idea became serious and now we are here!
We decided in favour of the German Shepherd Dog Association as our umbrella organisation, as we already have a long-standing and trusting relationship with this association.
It is important to us to make it very clear that ALL dog breeds are always welcome here. Regardless of whether they are pedigree dogs, list dogs or mixed breeds, small or large, old or young - we are happy to welcome them!
