In 1992, our association was entered in the register of associations under the name "Verein zur Förderung des kulturellen Lebens e.V.". But we had already been organising cabaret evenings in the "Alte Färbe" guild hall for a few years before that.
After six years, we moved into the factory building we had renovated on Straßberg, and the "Kulturfabrik Straßberg" was born. At the same time, our association was renamed "Uhr & Kultur e.V.".
In 2010, we moved to our current domicile "Kulturfabrik Furtwangen" in Bismarckstraße 9, centrally located in the city centre and with plenty of parking spaces in the immediate vicinity.
After more than 25 years of organising the International Antique Watch Fair, we handed over responsibility to the town of Furtwangen on 1 January 2018. From this point onwards, we will focus exclusively on the programme design for our cabaret stage in Bismarckstraße.
Thanks to the perfect stage technology and cosy ambience, every event here is a very special experience for our visitors.
We want to offer our guests the tried and tested, but also the new and above all the unusual with our programme, which focuses on the best entertainment true to our motto "cabaret with heart and humour".
