Surrounded by Bannwald forest, the Zweribach waterfalls are idyllically situated in the middle of a nature reserve. The water thunders down into the valley over two large steps.
As the path is stony and steep, and in some places barely wider than a footpath, sturdy and good footwear is essential.
At the foot of the waterfalls there is a meadow over which a small stream flows. There are benches to rest and enjoy this beautiful spot. There is also a small chapel and a plaque with information about the farm that once stood here.
However, a visit is only recommended with good footwear and some fitness.
