The Windy Corner Blues Band has been on the road in the Black Forest for over ten years now and stands for blues, soul and rock from the 60s and 70s.
In 2011, two neighbours in Windeckweg in Hinterzarten founded the "Windy Corner Blues Band". Memories of the teenage band in the sixties, of musical stopovers in a busy professional life and in anticipation of approaching retirement: it was time to start again properly. Forever young... Classic blues, soul and rock had never lost its fascination.
The classic 5-man line-up consists of Jürgen Krause (bass), Bernd Fahle (guitar, vocals, blues harp), Hubert Förschner (guitar, vocals), Frank Ebert (drums) and Dirk Schniepper (keyboards, saxophone, vocals).
The repertoire includes songs by the greatest musicians and music legends: B.B. King, Chuck Berry, Wilson Pickett, Eric Clapton, Peter Green, Stevie Winwood, Joe Cocker and many more. We play their authentic style and groove. At festivals, concerts and parties. Indoors and outdoors.
