What was a historic train journey like?
The answer to this question is not only to be found in books. The 3-lake railway keeps the memory of the old days of the railway alive.
Wearing original uniforms from the 1950s, the train crew of the 3 Lakes Railway will take you back to the days of the historic railway. Climb aboard the diesel or electric locomotive. The platform attendant whistles and raises the bell for the departure order. A short time later, the historic train sets off with you as a passenger in the Black Forest Highlands.
