Theater im Kurhaus: "Das Fräulein Wunder"
Best entertainment with the musical comedy by Murat Yeginer. The play with the hit highlights of the 30s and 40s captivates the audience from the very beginning.
Germany, end of the 1940s. Three women want to fulfil their dream: A concert in front of the Queen in the garden of Buckingham Palace. But to do so, they have to win a singing competition. They meet at an audition: Rosa, a substitute German teacher, Käthe, a dressmaker with opera training, and Hilde, a milker and yodeller, the purest natural talent.
A ladies' band is to be formed, or to be more precise: a ladies' band, as Captain John McGintley, the organiser of the "Anglo-German Swing Festival", emphasises. A great challenge - and not just for the three very different "German Frolleins". With a twinkle in his eye, extremely humorous and equally melancholy and touching, Murat Yeginer succeeds in telling a story that captivates us.
With Sorina Kiefer, Amelie Sturm, Diana Ganter, Martin Mulders, Benjamin Hille and others.
Director: Murat Yeginer
Production: Schauspielbühnen in Stuttgart, Komödie im Marquard
