There are places that immediately cast a spell over you: The former Jägerheim at 1,200 meters, directly below the Feldberg summit, is one of these rare gems. Easy to reach in just a few minutes from the center of Hinterzarten to the Rinken hiking parking lot and further on via a private road open exclusively for guests, you park right in front of the house and are already in the middle of nature. In summer, the Rinken is the central starting point for hikes and mountain biking in the entire region of the Upper Black Forest. In winter, the groomed cross-country ski trail starts here with tours to Schluchsee, Feldsee, Hinterzarten, Titisee or even as far as the Belchen. The entrance for ski tourers to the summits of the northern Feldberg is right on the doorstep. Cowbells from the cows on the Baldenweger Buck, the snorting of the horses in the hotel's own pasture or the babbling of the stream add to the special atmosphere. The house is supplied with fresh, clear water from its own spring. After two years of intensive refurbishment, we are delighted that we will finally be able to open the house in new splendor in October 2022.
