Menzenschwander Hütte - enjoyment and tradition on the Feldberg
For over 100 years, the Menzenschwander Hütte has been a popular meeting place for hikers, cyclists, winter sports enthusiasts and connoisseurs. Situated amidst the impressive natural scenery of the Feldberg, it offers a marvellous view of the "Grafenmatt". The hut is the ideal place for an enjoyable break at any time of year - whether after a sporting tour or as the destination of a cosy excursion.
In 2022, the siblings Andreas, Matthias, Lukas and Julia Jünger took over the traditional mountain inn, renovated it extensively and reopened the Menzenschwander Hütte in October 2023 after a year of renovation.
Black Forest cuisine with a regional focus
The menu stands for honest, authentic Black Forest cuisine with a clear local focus. Craftsmanship and quality play a central role: potatoes are freshly peeled, salads are cut by hand. Bread and cakes come from the in-house bakery and are baked fresh every day. Soups and stews are made according to traditional family recipes - hearty, regional and prepared with great care.
Room for enjoyment - indoors and outdoors
The dining room seats up to 85 guests. A further 200 people can enjoy the view of the Feldberg on the spacious terrace. The combination of cosy ambience and impressive nature makes the Menzenschwander Hütte a special destination.
Groups are welcome by prior arrangement. Reservations are gladly accepted.
How to get to the Menzenschwander Hütte
Access is via the pass road directly under the ski bridge - the road leads directly to the hut. There is a car park for restaurant guests right next to the hut.
The Menzenschwander Hütte is barrier-free.
There is currently no overnight accommodation available.
