Gasthof Schneckenhof

History was written at the traditional Gasthof Schneckenhof: The world's first ski lift was built here. Even today, the house tells of that special time when spa guests from all over the world travelled to the valley to marvel at Robert Winterhalder's pioneering invention.

The Schneckenhof still retains its original charm and offers a unique atmosphere for anyone looking for peace, nostalgia and authenticity. The long history of the house goes back an impressively long way - the "Herbergs- und Wirtschaftsgerechtigkeit" has existed since 1529.
