Kiosk in Germany's highest railroad station

The station in Bärental, built in 1926, is currently at the start of a major renovation and conversion project. The kiosk with its “small window” has been open again since October 2023.

Culinary delights are served through the “Little Window” with coffee specialties, a cold beer or a tea with rum, as well as many hot and cold drinks. Handmade tarte flambée, homemade Belgian waffles, gluten-free focaccia, a hot sausage with farmhouse bread and all kinds of sweet and savory snacks are also on offer.
