Rothaus Chalet
A culinary delight at 1,300 metres: the Rothaus Chalet on the Feldberg delights guests with regional specialities, a varied menu and a unique view of the Black Forest landscape.
The Rothaus Chalet is situated at an altitude of 1,300 metres in the heart of the Feldberg Nature Reserve, at the foot of the Seebuck ski run, between the Haus der Natur and the Feldberg Cable Car.
The spacious sun terrace, with views of the Feldberg massif, is a lovely place to relax at any time of year. In summer, the view sweeps across lush green meadows and the surrounding Black Forest landscape, whilst in winter the bustling activity of the ski resort unfolds right outside the terrace.
Culinary delights include a varied selection – from regional specialities and juicy burgers to vegetarian and vegan dishes. Homemade cakes, ice cream and a wide range of hot and cold drinks round off the offering. The modern self-service concept ensures a relaxed and informal atmosphere.
Thanks to its sustainable modular design with a green roof, the chalet blends harmoniously into its surroundings whilst setting an example for environmentally conscious construction. The accessible facilities, direct links to public transport and proximity to the Feldberg car park with around 1,200 spaces make a visit particularly convenient. Dogs are also very welcome.
Whether as the destination of a hike, a stop-off on an outing or a cosy place to relax after a day on the slopes – the Rothaus Chalet offers the perfect combination of enjoyment, hospitality and the unique Black Forest backdrop.
Opening hours may vary depending on the weather.
