Geologische Highlights
Wegebeschaffenheit
This varied circular hike starts and ends at the Boll hiking car park and leads through several sections of the Wutach Gorge. Right at the start, hikers can enjoy a cultural highlight: the idyllically situated Bad Boll chapel, which invites you to take a short break or enjoy a moment of peace and quiet. From there, the trail continues towards the impressive Tannegger waterfalls, where the water plunges over moss-covered rocks – a particularly photogenic section of the tour. The trail then winds its way further into the impressive Wutach Gorge. Here, the path leads along steep rock faces, through rustic forests and over small bridges, always accompanied by the sound of the Wutach river. A special highlight along the route is the so-called rock gallery, a spectacular section of the trail directly on the steep rock face, which offers a magnificent view into the depths of the gorge. The trail continues past the rustic Schuhammerhütte, which is ideal for a rest before finally leading back to the starting point at the Boll parking lot.
