This hike combines the wild and romantic beauty of the Wutach Gorge with the idyllic Lotenbach Gorge and a panoramic experience on the ridge back to Boll. Your tour starts at the hiking car park in Boll, from where a serpentine path leads down to Bad Boll. A large board there provides information about the nature reserve and its special features.

Via the Fritz Hockenjos footbridge and the Münzlochweg trail, you walk along the Wutach, past the Dietfurt bridge with its cosy barbecue area. Continue to the Schattenmühle mill before turning into the Lotenbachklamm gorge - an approximately 1.5-kilometre-long side valley with dense forest, rushing water and unspoilt nature.

After the gorge section, the landscape opens up, you cross the B 315 and L 170 and follow the Tiefental Panorama Trail. Open meadows, sparse forests and marvellous views accompany you on the way back before you finally reach the starting point in Boll - a varied hike between gorge, ravine and panoramic views.

Wegbeschreibung

Your hike starts at the hiking car park in Boll. Just behind the car park, a path leads down several hairpin bends to Bad Boll. A large information board with interesting facts about the Wutachschlucht nature reserve awaits you there.

To the left of the board, cross the Fritz Hockenjos footbridge and follow the Münzlochweg, which takes you in the opposite direction to the flow of the Wutach. At the Dietfurt bridge you will find a barbecue area - a nice place for a rest or a small picnic.

You then continue your tour in the direction of Schattenmühle. Once there, cross the road and turn left past the hikers' car park into the Lotenbachklamm gorge. This wild and romantic side valley of the Wutach Gorge stretches for around 1.5 kilometres.

At the top, you come to the B 315, turn left and cross the L 170 a little later. You then continue uphill on the Tiefental panorama trail, which leads you through a quiet, open landscape with beautiful views. At the end of the route, you will return to Boll.
