Cross-country ski trail "Hardtloipe"
Leicht
Take an easy loop on the cross-country ski trail "Hardtloipe" on the edge of Rötenbach and enjoy the snow-covered forests and white expanses in the direction of Göschweiler.
The cross-country ski trail "Hardtloipe" is located south of Rötenbach, between the road to Göschweiler and the gorge of Rötenbach, on a wide plateau called Hardt. People who love wide horizons will be especially pleased with this trail. Only occasionally is the white expanse interrupted by individual trees and haystacks.
You can see the Witterschnee pilgrimage chapel in Löffingen, Dittishausen and the long ridge of the Swabian Alb.
Wegbeschreibung
From the start and finish, the well-maintained double track leads in a westerly direction along the Rötenbach leisure and sports facilities to the forest.
Here the trail turns almost at right angles. It continues in a wide arc above the Rötenbach gorge on the edge of the wooded slope. After about 3 kilometres, the connecting track to the cross-country ski trail "Hirschbühl " joins the trail. Continue straight ahead until the trail turns shortly before Göschweilerstraße and returns to the starting point in a large curve parallel to the road.
