Cross-country ski trail "Hellewand Spur"

The 2 km long circular trail starts near the Hellewanderhof and can only be reached via the Panorama Trail from Russenkreuz. The trail winds its way through open terrain, surrounded by beautiful snow-covered fir trees and a fantastic view of the Hellewanderhof and other Black Forest farms.

With short ascents and longer descents, it is a pleasure to run on this trail. With good visibility, you can even see the Alps. Floodlit on Wednesday and Friday from 18:00 to 21:00.

DSV premium trails:

Together with the municipalities, the cross-country skiing clubs and the Southern Black Forest Nature Park, the Safety in Skiing Foundation (SIS) and the DSV Environmental Advisory Board have been working in recent years to develop the quality of the cross-country ski trail centres in the Southern Black Forest. 1,200 km of cross-country ski trails have been certified as DSV nordic active centres according to international criteria, signposted using a standardised system, equipped with information boards and local trail flyers and made accessible to internet users in a comprehensive form via the DSV trail portal (www.loipenportal.de). In addition, a cross-country trail map has been developed that shows all certified cross-country trail centres in a unique overview and quality and contains specific suggestions and tips for cross-country skiers in the southern Black Forest.
