Dillendorf ridgeway

The picturesque circular walk begins at the sports field in Dillendorf, where there is ample parking available. From here, the trail initially leads leisurely through the charming neighbourhood, past lovingly maintained houses and small gardens, which give the village a particularly lively feel.

You soon leave the streets of Dillendorf and follow a wide field and meadow path that leads gently towards the neighbouring forest. Along the way, there are always marvellous views of the surrounding landscape: green hills, wide meadows and scattered groups of trees give the route an open, light-flooded atmosphere. Here, small benches or idyllic resting places invite you to pause, enjoy the view and breathe in the fresh air of the Black Forest.

The mood changes in the forest section: shady paths, the rustling of leaves and the chirping of birds provide peace and relaxation. Mosses, ferns and sparse groups of trees characterise the path, which leads gently through the forest and provides a pleasant level of challenge even on the smaller climbs.

Finally, the route leads back to the starting point at the sports field, where the view once again opens up over the open landscape of Dillendorf.
