The hike leads mostly above the Schlücht, past Schwedenfelsen and Falkenstein, with wonderful views of the idyllic Schlüchttal valley and the Schlücht. Occasionally, you can spot one or two climbers in the rocks of the valley to the left and right of the Schlücht. It is worth taking the short diversions via Berau for a refreshment stop.
