The varied circular hiking trail starts in the charming district of Wellendingen and initially leads through the village for a short time. Hikers can feel the tranquil atmosphere of the village right from the start before the trail enters the neighbouring, slightly elevated forest. There, natural paths invite you to enjoy the fresh air, listen to the chirping of birds and let your gaze wander over the gentle slopes and clearings.
Along the way, you will pass the idyllic barbecue area in the Steinatal valley and a publicly accessible playground - perfect places for a short break or for families who want to give children the opportunity to play. The varied route alternates between open sections and shady forest paths, so that both the enjoyment of nature and a pleasant hike take centre stage.
At the end of the route, you return to the village, where the Kornhaus Café and the Felsenkeller invite you to take a cosy break. Here you can sample regional specialities, fortify yourself and round off the day in a relaxed atmosphere. The tour harmoniously combines village idyll, forest walks, family-friendly breaks and culinary experiences - ideal for anyone looking for a varied hike close to nature.
