Walking barefoot is good for you and great fun! Leave your shoes and socks at the barbecue hut at the start of the Muggenbrunn Barefoot Trail and enjoy a relaxing stroll along the trail. Along the roughly 600-metre-long trail, you’ll find a variety of surfaces – such as spruce cones, bark mulch, sand, gravel and even refreshing mountain stream water – just waiting to be explored with your feet. This varied trail enhances your senses, strengthens your foot muscles and offers a nature-filled experience for young and old alike. Once you reach the end – at the barbecue hut – you can wash your feet at the fountain.
The barefoot trail is located near the Muggenbrunn campsite and is an ideal destination for families, nature lovers and anyone who wants to experience the Black Forest with all their senses.

Directions
You start right at the car park and follow the signs for the “Barefoot Trail”. When you reach the barbecue hut, take off your shoes and socks, which you can leave there. Now it’s time for a foot massage. You’ll walk along the circular trail over a variety of surfaces, feeling nature beneath your feet. Once you reach the end – back at the barbecue hut – you can wash your feet at the fountain.
