On this easy walk, you will discover the village of Göschweiler and stroll along the meadows on the outskirts of the village. A particular highlight is the "Hohe Wacht" vantage point, where a panorama board shows you the mountain world of the Swiss Alps, which you can see from here in good weather. The view over the Wutach Gorge, which extends below Göschweiler, is also impressive.
Directions
You start the tour in the center of Göschweiler on Bergstraße. From here, you first head uphill until you turn left onto Waldstraße, which leads you out of the village. Follow the forest road and you will pass the “Hohe Wacht” viewpoint. Continue along the road until you reach the edge of the forest, where you can take a break at the barbecue area and playground. Then turn right onto Schützenweg, which will take you safely back towards the village of Göschweiler. Once you reach the edge of the village, follow Lenzkircher Straße before turning left back onto Bergstraße to the starting point.
