Philosophers' path to Krummföhrle

The tour starts at the cemetery, where there is ample parking. We start to the right. At the junction by the water reservoir, we keep right again and continue straight ahead until we reach Bergstraße, which we cross to reach Philosophenweg.

Quotation boards and a marvellous view over Bonndorf accompany us on our way to Lindenstraße, which we follow uphill to the left. At the top, at the bus shelter, we turn right at the side of the road and cross the L 171 in front of the LIndenbuck inn. The path leads past the meat factory and continues along the road "Am Lindenbuck" towards the wind turbine.

A particularly atmospheric spot awaits us there: the "Krummföhrle", an old tree that ducks picturesquely out of the wind and weather. The small bench next to it invites you to take a short break with a sweeping view over the winter landscape.

After a few metres, we turn left and walk through quiet meadows and fields to the country road, which we cross again. Passing Bianca's farm shop, we head back towards the starting point.

In the industrial estate, we follow the path to the left, turn right at the Holz & Harmonie joinery and keep left again on the road coming from Boll. After around 50 metres, the path leads past the recycling centre on the right; at the next junction, turn right towards the Dusty Rose Ranch. Turn left in front of the stable building and follow the path to the mountain road. There we turn left, and at the next opportunity the path leads right back to the car park.
