The well-signposted Thurner panoramic trail starts at the log cabin of the well-known Thurnerspur trail. Here you can already enjoy a wide view across to the Schauinsland, Zartener Becken, Rosskopf and on to the Kandel and Brend. The trail continues to Michelehäusle and a little later leads you back to an open landscape with a magnificent view of the Spirzendobel and distant mountain ranges. The rest of the trail takes you to the highest point of the hike, Fahrenberger Höhe. Finally, the Black Forest shows itself from a different side. Here, the deep valleys give way to the gentler valley forms of the Danube Black Forest.
