The trail starts at the cemetry in "Ühlingen". You start right away with a steady 6.3% ascent up a beautiful hill, after crossing the flat crest you can let the wind blow around your nose on the descent on the other side. It is rare that there is enough snow to groom the trails at an altitude of 665-745 m above sea level. The landscape offers a varied, largely open area, dotted with copses, thanks to the hilly plateau.

The restaurant "Posthorn" is located in the centre of "Ühlingen". The hotel offers a wide variety of home-distilled schnapps. It's worth trying.
