Directions
From the tourist information office, follow trail no. 4 via the church square to the town center. At the former indoor swimming pool, the path turns right into the landscaped garden. Follow this until you reach the Sägloch. There you turn right at the district road, which you follow for approx 300 m.
At the Sägebauernhof, the path leads towards Oberort, past the birthplace of the cuckoo clock, up the valley via Tiefenbach to Escheck. You return to Schönwald via the old Escheckstreet and the Dobel ski lift.

Equipment
Good footwear and clothing suitable for the weather are essential for a wonderful hiking experience in winter. Drinks and backpack provisions are recommended for all tours.
